Rather than buying off-the-shelf motors, we design them ourselves - unique among pump manufacturers, this ensures years of trouble free performance, despite the tough operating conditions.
The double mechanical face seals
Two sets of mechanical shaft seals provide double security. The seals are made of ceramics.
Cast iron shell
The motor and pump housings are made from cast iron. This make Flygt pumps harder wearing and more resistant to corrosion than pumps made from metal plate.
The trouble free performance
Due to the compact design of the pump, the shaft overhang is kept short: this virtually eliminates shaft deflections and vibrations, leading to a minimum of stress on the seals and bearings.
The origin
