Pressure sewers and service connections should be constructed from corrosion resistant materials that remain unaffected by permanent contact with wastewater and wastewater gases. The material should also be resistant to cyclic stresses.
Materials often used are Polvinylchoride (PVC) or High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).
