This brochure is intended for designers, planners and users of irrigation - sewage - and storm water pumping systems that incorporate submersible pumps. (Flygt propeller pumps). The recommendations are based on full-scale model tests made by Flygt in co-operation with Hydraulic Models Ltd.
This brochure gives recommendations of the key dimensions for a number of different configurations (design alternatives). The recommendations are based on the type and size of the different propeller pumps. The brochure also includes recommendations about flow enhancement devices such as splitters and divider plates et c. Moreover head loss factors are shown for some of the system parts often used in the pipe system of a propeller pump station.
