Features in FLYPS 2.1





FLYPS 3.1 includes not only an easy to use Search/Browse function for selecting the appropriate Flygt pump(s). But also numerous analysis tools which help the user to examine the pump/pipe system from different aspects.

Product data for all FLYGT's products can be
viewed and printed out.

All
settings such as units for flow, head, power, loss calculation methods etc can be changed in order to suit the local needs.

Pump selections
Duty point search
Finds the optimal pump selection for a given duty point. The optimisation can be based on power consumption or divergence from the requested duty point. Supports both single and multiple parallel pump systems.

Manual browse
Any pump within Flygt's wide product range can be selected through successive list choices based on the application / pump type required.
System analysis
Pipe system design
Head loss calculations based on a specified pipe system. Includes a database containing standard pipe dimensions along with pre-defined factors for roughness and point losses. The programme uses both individual and common pipe entries, allowing most pipework configurations to be modeled and losses calculated.
Performance analysis
Is used to study duty conditions such as shaft power, NPSHreq and efficiency for single or multiple pumps in operation and/or different water levels. Comparisons can be made between alternative pump models based on the same system information.
LCC-analysis
Life cycle cost analysis is used when comparing life cycle costs for different pumping solutions.

VFD-Analysis
Is used to examine the effects of a Variable Frequency Drive. Regulated performance curves together with duty points for different frequencies are displayed.
